I'm back with another tutorial for you all! I've been experimenting with filming tutorials and putting them on YouTube, because if you're anything like me, you learn much better visually and seeing the techniques demonstrated. Plus if we have another thing in common is that we love pouches! I never seem to have enough to hold all my projects. The one I designed for Dailylike Canada includes a vinyl window so you can see exactly what you've stashed inside. I added a zipper pocket on the back for extra storage. It has a slim profile but can hold plenty. It would be great for holding a few stationery/planner supplies as well.
I used the adorable Persian Cat fabric behind the vinyl. I just love those fluffy cats! I recommend you use a non-directional fabric for the back panel since part of it becomes the flap in the front. Striped fabric is always a great choice and coordinates so well with other fabric. Fusible Fleece gives the pouch just the right amount of stability. I've included how to make bias binding and finishing your binding ends for a clean look. I hope you'll check out my video and make some pouches of your own! Tag me on Instagram with #flappyviewpouch and if you have any questions, I'm here to help!
