Sometimes you see a fabric and you know *exactly* what you want to do with it... that doesn’t happen to me often, but with this, I knew what it was going to become before it even reached my hot little hands...
That’s where this lovely fabric comes into play...
This bio washing linen is soft and gauzy, great for sensitive skin, and absolutely perfect for clothing. It really was the perfect choice to use in making an infinity scarf for Mya!
It’s a quick & simple project as well and worked well with the wide width of this fabric! In 3 easy steps you can make your child this scarf!
- Take the length of “Baby Bear” and fold in in half, right sides together and stitch along the edges with a 3/8” seam allowance.
- You should now have a long tube with an open hole in each end. Take those ends and pin together with right sides together. Stitch together leaving a 3” hole to turn your scarf right side out. You’ll get to a certain point where you can’t sew it together any longer. It’s hard to explain, but you’ll see. ;)
- Once your ends are *mostly* sewn together, simply turn your scarf right side out and use a blind stitch to close the 3” hole.
Done! That’s it! It’s literally a 10 minute project from start to finish and has such wonderful results!!
Thank you to DailyLike Fabric for supplying this beautiful fabric! xox
